Used Stag Arms Values 2026:
Every Model, Every Caliber.

Stag Arms was founded in 2003 in New Britain, Connecticut. Stag is notable for producing complete left-handed AR-15s (Model 6 LH, Model 8 LH, etc.) — about 10% of the market that other manufacturers ignore. The Stag 15 / Stag 10 platforms anchor the lineup with a premium-tier alternative to PSA at mid-tier pricing. The Stag 16 in 6.5 Creedmoor and the Tactical line round out the catalog.

Stag Arms Value FAQ

Are Stag left-handed ARs really left-handed?

Yes — Stag's LH models have the case-deflector, port, and bolt-throw mirror-imaged for true left-handed operation. Most other AR makers (DD, Aero, PSA) provide right-handed rifles with ambidextrous controls; Stag is the only major maker offering a true left-handed AR receiver. About 15-20% of Stag's production is left-handed.

Where is Stag based?

Stag Arms moved from New Britain, Connecticut to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2019, primarily to escape Connecticut's restrictive firearms laws. Production is currently based in Cheyenne.

Are Stag Bones rifles different?

Yes — the 'Bones' line uses a fluted, lightweight barrel and skeletonized handguard to reduce overall weight to ~5.5 lbs. Marketed for backcountry hunting and 3-gun competition where weight matters.
