Rossi Value FAQ
Is the Rossi R92 the best Winchester 1892 replica?
By unit volume — yes. The Rossi R92 is the most-produced Winchester 1892 replica in the world. Italian Uberti and Cimarron 1892s offer higher fit-and-finish but at 2-3x the price. R92 retails $700-1,000; very popular for cowboy action shooting and budget brush hunting.
What is the Circuit Judge?
A revolving long-gun — single barrel attached to a Taurus Judge-pattern multi-caliber cylinder. Chambered for .45 Colt / .410 Bore, .357 Magnum / .38 Special, or .22 LR / .22 Magnum. Niche product but popular for survival/backup applications. MSRP $600-800.
Are Rossi revolvers reliable?
Generally yes for casual use. The R98 .22 LR is a popular budget plinker. The RM66 .357 Magnum is comparable to a Charter Arms or Taurus 605. Build quality is utilitarian; not on par with Ruger SP101 or Smith & Wesson J-frames.
Where are Rossi guns imported from?
São Leopoldo, Brazil. BrazTech (a Florida subsidiary of Taurus) handles U.S. import and distribution. Rossi USA service is co-located with Taurus USA service.
