Used Nighthawk Custom Values 2026:
Every Model, Every Caliber.

Nighthawk Custom was founded in 2004 in Berryville, Arkansas by former Wilson Combat employees. Each Nighthawk 1911 is built by a single pistolsmith from start to finish — 'One Gun, One Gunsmith' is the company's signature workflow. Production is limited to roughly 1,200-1,500 pistols per year. Premium models (Counselor, T4, Falcon, Korth Mongoose collaborations) sit at the top of the U.S. semi-custom 1911 market. Nighthawk also builds the Korth revolver line under license.

Nighthawk Custom Value FAQ

What is 'One Gun, One Gunsmith'?

Nighthawk's signature workflow — every pistol is built start-to-finish by a single named pistolsmith rather than assembled from a production line. The gunsmith's name appears on the certificate of authenticity that ships with the gun. Production caps at roughly 1,200-1,500 units per year company-wide.

How long is the Nighthawk waitlist?

Currently 6-18 months for standard configurations. Custom Shop and engraved builds run 12-36 months. Used Nighthawks on the secondary market often sell quickly because they bypass the wait. Resale value typically 85-100% of MSRP for clean low-round-count guns.

What's the difference between Nighthawk and Wilson Combat?

Both are premium U.S. semi-custom 1911 builders in Berryville, Arkansas — Nighthawk was founded by former Wilson Combat employees. Wilson uses a more production-style workflow with specialists; Nighthawk uses solo-builder workflow. Wilson produces ~5-6x more units per year. Both make excellent guns; Nighthawk's exclusivity often commands a slight premium.

Are Korth revolvers Nighthawks?

Korth is a separate German company; Nighthawk is the exclusive U.S. importer and finisher. The Mongoose and NXS series are German-built but receive Nighthawk's U.S. finishing work. Combined branding ('Nighthawk Korth') is standard. Korth revolvers are among the most expensive production revolvers in the world ($4,000-15,000+).
