Used Mossberg Values 2026:
Every Model, Every Caliber.
O.F. Mossberg & Sons was founded in 1919 by Oscar Mossberg in New Haven, Connecticut. The Model 500 pump shotgun is the second-most-produced shotgun in history (behind only the Remington 870) and the only shotgun approved by the U.S. Department of Defense for general service. Mossberg's bolt-action rifle line (Patriot, MVP, ATR) and its tactical shotguns (590, 590A1, Shockwave) anchor the U.S. private-sale market. Pre-1980 'Western Field' marked variants sold through Montgomery Ward and 'Sears Ted Williams' OEM versions are now collectible curiosities.
