Every Model, Every Caliber.

Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) — formerly Israel Military Industries (IMI) — was founded in 1933 in Israel. Original IMI designed the Uzi (1948), Galil (1972), and Desert Eagle. Modern IWI U.S. (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) imports and assembles the Tavor X95 / TS12, the Galil ACE, the Jericho 941, and the Masada striker pistol for the American market.

IWI Value FAQ

Are Tavor rifles available in non-restrictive states only?

Tavors comply with most state regulations. The Tavor SAR has been replaced by the X95 in current production. SBR variants require NFA Form 4 (with stock and shorter barrel) regardless of state. The TS12 is shotgun-classified, not subject to AR/rifle restrictions.

Is the Galil ACE related to the original Galil?

Yes — the original Galil (1972) was designed in Israel by Yisrael Galili, drawing from the Finnish RK 62 and the Soviet AK. The Galil ACE is the modernized current-production version with improved ergonomics, M-LOK rails, and Picatinny optics mount. Both share the rotating-bolt action and AK-derived design lineage.

What's the difference between Baby Eagle and Jericho 941?

Same gun — different markets. Magnum Research imports it as the Baby Eagle (and Baby Desert Eagle); IWI imports it under the Jericho 941 name. Both are CZ-75-derived steel-frame DA/SA pistols. Currently both names are in active U.S. production.

Does IWI still make the Uzi?

Yes — the Uzi Pro Pistol (and SB variant) is in current production under the IWI U.S. brand, made from polymer materials. The original-style steel Uzi pistol and carbine are no longer in U.S. import production but are still produced in Israel.
