Used Beretta Values 2026:
Every Model, Every Caliber.

Founded in 1526 by Bartolomeo Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta is the oldest firearms manufacturer in the world. The Beretta 92FS / M9 served as the U.S. military's standard sidearm from 1985 to 2017. Beretta's competition O/U shotguns (686, 687, 690, DT11) anchor the global clays and sporting market, and the A400 / 1301 series are dominant in tactical and waterfowl gas guns. U.S.-imported Beretta production runs through Beretta U.S.A. in Accokeek, Maryland (and now Gallatin, Tennessee).

Beretta Value FAQ

Are Italian-made Berettas worth more than U.S.A. production?

For shotguns: yes — Italian production is the gold standard. For 92-series pistols: U.S.-made (Accokeek, MD) and Italian-made (Gardone Val Trompia) examples trade roughly equivalent for the 92FS. The M9 (military contract) is all U.S.-made. Premium-grade O/U shotguns (DT11, EELL, SO-series) are exclusively Italian-made.

Is a military M9 different from a commercial 92FS?

Mechanically nearly identical, but the M9 has slightly different markings, a more durable Bruniton finish, and was manufactured under government contract specifications. M9 commercial-issue (sold civilian post-decommissioning or directly by Beretta) commands a small premium over an equivalent 92FS for collectors.

What's the difference between the 686 and 687 Silver Pigeon?

Both share the 686 frame. The 687 EELL has higher-grade walnut, hand-engraved sideplates, and more refined wood-to-metal fit. The 686 Silver Pigeon is the entry-level grade; 687 Silver Pigeon V adds engraving and better wood; 687 EELL is the top of the production line. 690 and 692/694 are competition-grade chasses.

Why do PX4 Subcompacts trade at a discount?

The PX4 platform never achieved widespread carry adoption versus the Glock 26 / Sig P365 family. PX4 Subcompacts in 9mm and .40 S&W are typically priced 30-40% below comparable striker pistols on the secondary market. The Full-Size PX4 Storm holds value better.
