About the Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield Plus
The Shield Plus is S&W's answer to the SIG P365 — same micro-compact footprint, 13-round flush-fit magazine, and a much-improved flat-face trigger. Released in 2021, it kept the Shield brand competitive against the SIG juggernaut and outsells nearly every other compact 9mm in the U.S. market.
