About the Bergara B-14 HMR

Bergara (a Spanish barrel manufacturer that supplies CVA and others) introduced the B-14 series in 2016, with the HMR positioned as the precision/long-range hunting model. Standard configuration: Bergara hammer-forged barrel (24″ or 26″ depending on caliber), molded carbon-fiber-reinforced stock with adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull, Mini-Chassis bedding system, and an integrated 5-round AICS-pattern magazine. Sub-MOA accuracy is guaranteed.

Why the Bergara B-14 HMR Holds Its Value

The Bergara B-14 HMR retains value because the platform punches well above its price tier in accuracy testing — independent reviewers consistently report 0.5-0.75 MOA groups with quality ammunition. The adjustable stock, AICS magazine, and chassis-style bedding are features typically found on rifles costing twice as much. PRS and NRL Hunter shooters use B-14 HMRs as starting platforms before building up.

What Affects Bergara B-14 HMR Resale Value

Caliber drives variation: 6.5 Creedmoor trades fastest; .308 Winchester and 6.5 PRC trade similar; .300 Win Mag and 7mm PRC trade $50-100 above. Threaded muzzle (factory) adds $40-70. Original box, paperwork, and the factory accuracy test target add $40-60 collectively. Aftermarket optic mounted (Vortex, Athlon, Burris) transfers at 60-70% optic retail.
