FAQs

Comparison FAQs

Is the FN SCAR 16S worth the price?

For the mechanical excellence and military provenance, yes — if you can afford $3,500 for a rifle. The short-stroke piston keeps the action cleaner than DI systems and the folding stock is genuinely useful.

Can I buy an actual HK416?

The HK416 is a military-only firearm. The HK MR556A1 is the closest civilian equivalent — same short-stroke piston system and ergonomics, but semi-automatic only and some differences in components.
