GunPrice’s AI is trained on over 10,062 cataloged firearms across 84 manufacturers and 317+ calibers, with 2026 private-sale data, dealer trade-in comparisons, market trend indicators, and collectibility ratings.
We track three numbers for every gun: Private sale (peer-to-peer fair value), Dealer trade-in (typically 30% less), and Dealer retail (the shop’s markup). The gap between trade-in and retail is how dealers stay in business. Knowing it is how you keep the difference.
